COAST TO COAST ON THE FLY

SHOR Fishing is always looking for new ways to promote the fishing industry and its partners. We travelled throughout the country to create an online fly fishing series.

Fly shop owners welcomed us in their stores, where we met and interviewed dozens of incredible characters who shared their stories with us.

Thanks to our partners at O'Pros Fly Fishing, Scientific Anglers and Orvis for their participation in this great adventure!

Saison 1 - Episode 1: SHOR Fishing

In this first episode, we visit the SHOR Fishing installations, have an interview with the CEO Eric Boulard, and go fishing with Mathieu Dansereau, a professional fisherman in Québec. We are fishing for smallmouth bass on Lake Saint Pierre.

Saison 1 - Episode 2: VANCOUVER

Follow Eric and Benoit as they explore British Columbia. Their first stop is the Highwater Tackle fly shop, where they will meet Dave Steele. They then move to Squamish to meet Clint Goyette, the owner of Valley Fishing Guides Ltd, and he will bring them to discover the most beautiful river around.

Saison 1 - Episode 3: KELOWNA

This week, we hit the road to visit Savas and Nick, the owners of Trout Water Fly Shop. We head to 7½ Diamonds Ranch to fish for trophy rainbow trouts, and show you the beautiful Stillwater opportunity of the region.  

Saison 1 - Episode 4: EDMONTON

This week, we visit Reid Otto and his fly shop, the biggest fly fishing shop in the great Edmonton area. We then head to the North Saskatchewan River to meet James and Cauy from River Valley Guiding Co., they will guide us on this magnificent fishery right in downtown Edmonton.  

Saison 1 - Episode 5: CALGARY

This week, the guys visit Bow River Troufitters, right in downtown Calgary. We fish the iconic waters of the Bow River, that comes straight from the Rockies, to catch some beautiful rainbow trouts.

Saison 1 - Episode 6: TROIS-RIVIERES

This week, we are back in our home water to visit l’Ami du moucheur, one of the biggest fly shops in Quebec. We will be fishing with Thomas, from the guide service Les flat du Saint-Laurent, to target the fish of a thousand casts, the muskellunge.  

Saison 2 - Episode 1: POURVOIRIE DU MILIEU - OUTFITTER - SAINT-MICHEL DES SAINTS

FRENCH ONLY 

In this episode, we visit the Pourvoirie du milieu in Saint-Michel-des-Saints in Quebec to target pike, walleye, bass and brook trout. 

Saison 2 - Episode 2: TORONTO

In this episode, we visited Drift Outfitters and Fly Shop in the greater Toronto Area and fished for steelhead with Fly Water Guiding.

Saison 2 - Episode 3: QUEBEC - RIVIERE SAINTE-MAGUERITE

FRENCH ONLY

In this episode, we visit the majestic Sainte-Marguerite River with Boris Tremblay of Mouche Expert to target anadromous brook trout.
