Textreme X Type is a fine metallic film designed for ribbing and slim bodies on very small flies. Two polyamide monofilaments reinforce the flat film, making it a practical material for small Perdigons and other compact nymphs.
Its 0.25 mm width allows controlled coverage on hooks around #18 to #22. A coating of UV resin or an overwrap of Buzzer Wrap can improve the durability of the finished body.
