100% Pure Wool thread suggested for hooks size #14 and bigger. Its very imitative color effects, its easy tying as dubbing substitute and its strength are the main charatcteristics. It can be tied by incresasing the twist to get a natural body segmentation or by reducing the twist in order to get a smooth and uniform body. When tied, fibers can be extracted at your choice by using a dubbing brush. As dubbing substitute, it is perfect to tie all kind of flies, also in combination with other materials like, for example, out Magic Tinsel.

The 0.8 mm Cactus Chenille is the world’s finest Cactus Chenille and is produced using a particular process that, despite the small diameter, allows for the effect fibres to be retained in an extremely stable manner. It is perfectly suited to any pattern that requires an iridescence effect, but with an extremely reduced size. Also available on spools and cardboard.
