THE START !

Creation of the fishing store in Joliette by Bernard Boulard.

SHOR Fishing was created in 2018 with the aim of transmitting the passion for fly fishing and fly tying. With the mission of shaping a new generation of fly tyers and anglers, SHOR has set the objective of developing high-quality products while also creating educational tools.

The creator of the Neptune fly in 1958, Yvon Gendron, grew this passion by founding the company Les Mouches Neptune in 1979. A pioneer and excellent fly tyer, he was a dominant player in the world of fly fishing.

In 2013, he sold his company to Marc-Olivier Imbault of Nigava.

In 2021, three young individuals from the fly fishing industry decided to bring Neptune back to the forefront of the fly fishing world in Canada. Raphael Magnan, Benoit Farcy, and Eric Boulard acquired the company with the goal of advancing it by improving the quality and selection of flies.

The company specializing in the production of harnesses for walleye came to life as a result of the partnership of four fishing enthusiasts. The assembly of the harnesses and the coloring of the spoons are all done by Les Produits INVASION, which ensures the quality of our products. In 2011, the company was created by Patrice Bédard, David Tremblay, Pierre Lachance.

In 2022, the company was acquired by Neptune Flies in order to ensure greater production capacity and a better distribution network.
